Tobias Böker has been working with couples for over 30 years and has provided more than 10,000 hours of coaching. His approach deliberately differs from traditional couples therapy: the man and woman are worked with separately and together, because they communicate differently during a crisis. It is precisely this difference that is difficult to explain—and the real reason why couples choose this program.

Our previous website was no longer able to adequately convey this core concept. In addition, our growing range of offerings—including mentoring, the Academy, live training sessions, and support—needed a clear structure—and content that is constantly being updated.

The website should not only describe the method but also allow visitors to experience its structure firsthand. Visitors should be able to relate to it within the first few seconds, before any specific offer is mentioned. At the same time, the backend needed to allow for the management of modules, levels, voices, and price tiers without requiring technical knowledge.

A second requirement concerned the technology: short loading times, a clean layout, and a user interface that doesn't require more effort than necessary.

• Two-tier site architecture: The separation of "Women" and "Men" is reflected in the page layout—mirrored sections on the home page, along with two separate subpages. The approach becomes clear from the layout itself, rather than just from the text.
• Editorial Schedule: Each section is introduced by a short lead-in. This keeps the long home page organized into distinct chapters and easy to read.
• Canopy Technical Specifications: The project was implemented using WordPress and Canopy, a custom-built theme based on Timber and Twig. No page builder was used at all.
• Custom CMS Fields: All recurring content—the eight modules of the four levels, the four program pillars, customer testimonials, FAQ entries, and pricing tiers—is managed through dynamic input fields. New entries are created by filling in fields, not by designing them.
• Lean Backend: Without the Builder layer, the editing view is stripped down to the essentials. The layout is defined in the template and cannot be moved when editing content.
• Modern Development Process: Development and testing were conducted entirely on-site, and the templates are version-controlled. Changes are reviewed before they go live.
• Performance: Server-side output via Timber, recurring graphic elements as SVG files, and the elimination of the builder layer keep the amount of data loaded to a minimum and loading times short.
• Trust Elements: Certifications, the ProvenExpert rating, key metrics, and anonymized customer testimonials were grouped together and placed above the service overview.
• Booking route: All calls to action lead to the same appointment for a free initial consultation, which is managed through an external booking system.
• Accessibility: Skip-to-content links, descriptive alternative text, and a consistent heading structure are standard features of the project.

The result is a website that reflects the tone of Tobias Böker’s work: direct, organized, and unvarnished. The approach is evident in the site’s structure; the offerings are clearly organized into four levels and four pillars, and the entry point remains accessible at every stage.

For the customer, doing without a page builder means one thing above all else: content is easier to maintain, and the result remains reliable. For visitors, the difference is evident in fast loading times and a page that stays organized even when it contains a lot of text.
